Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP) is a retinal vascular condition that affects some neonates born prematurely. It can lead to the abnormal formation of new retinal blood vessels that bleed, causing vitreous haemorrhage, retinal detachment and blindness.
The goal of our study is to formulate and implement the first ever scientifically backed recommendations for ROP screening in an effort to harmonize the guidelines used in Canadian centres.
